Amazon denies accepting Bitcoin as payment

Last Monday, denied all rumors and media reports that the e-commerce giant wants to accept Bitcoin payments by the end of the year. This information came from London's City A.M. newspaper. This news brought the world's biggest cryptocurrency up as much as 14.5%.

"Notwithstanding our interest in the space, the speculation that has ensued around our specific plans for cryptocurrencies is not true. We remain focused on exploring what this could look like for customers shopping on Amazon.” said a spokesperson from Amazon. The company posted a job opening on July 22nd for a digital currency and blockchain product lead.

Elon Musk shared some wise words at the B Word conference

The event featured Tesla CEO Elon Musk, along with Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, among others. During the conference, he confirmed that he personally owns a large amount of Bitcoin. “If the price of Bitcoin goes down, I lose money.” He continued: “The only thing I own of any significance beyond Tesla and SpaceX stock is Bitcoin, and then some Ethereum and Dogecoin.” After Musk revealed this, the price of Ethereum skyrocketed.
